New in: leopard print,stripes,neon

I bought these around Easter actually but oh well, better late than ever! Ok, these pants are an item I absolutely love but I wasn't sure If I should buy them, because somehow I think they're gonna stay in my closet...Yesterday I found in my closet three items from last season with the price tags still on!! Nevertheless, I bought them and  I have even mentally styled outfits with the leopard-print pants! The cute neon tops are a staple for me and as for stripes, if you read my blog you know how much I love them! I have countless versions of the white and navy striped top but this one has the coral and beige colour blocking thing on the bottom that I really liked,I knew I had to get this as soon as I saw it,no hesitation here!   xoxoxo

Mani(c) Monday: Dotty nails once again! (polka dot on white)

Happy Monday lovelies! Is it me just me or is that an oxymoron??? Still,I'm doing my best to keep my mood and my nails happy! The nail polishes I used are:
- Luxe Lavender, Avon (nailwear pro)
- Don't Be Jaded, Avon (speeddry+)
- 120, Erre Due (exclusive)
- Pink Cream, Avon (nailwear pro+)
- Aqua Fantasy, Avon (nailwear pro)
- White, Avon (french manicure set)
- Peeling and Brittleness Solver, as base and top coat

Lipstick Love: Avon 'Amethyst'

This lipstick came to my hands by mistake. I ordered a different colour but ended with this one. At first my intention was to return it, but because my middle name is procrastination, I never got round to it.It lay forgotten in a box until I decided to try it on and quess what! It's actually a very cute shape of pink with a  hint of purple! And you all know I like pink! If you don't...take a closer look to the name of my blog! It's quite pigmented too,it's definitely a keeper! xoxoxo

Magazines: Celebrity May 2013, Marie Claire June 2013

Today I bought Marie Claire and as you can see there was a mini size toothpaste, an eyeshadow,a lipgloss and a nail polish. I don't think very  highly of cosmetics that magazines give away as gifts, unless they're from a brand I know and trust, still I'm gonna try them and and let you know my opinion. And a couple of weeks ago I bought Celebrity and it came together with these two nail polishes, from a brand called FABB,which I've never heard before. The colours are cute though, will make a post when I try them. Has any of you bought the magazines and tried them already maybe? If yes,I'd love to know your opinion! xoxoxo

Mani(c) Monday: Hot Pink

Happy Monday everyone! This is my new purchase from Avon, a hot pink speeddry+ nail polish called 'Strawberry'. It's bright and very pigmented and I loved it! It's a shade darker than 'Viva Pink',another favourite of mine. What do you think of the new shape of my nails by the way? xoxoxo

OOTD:polka dot top and my DIY trousers!

This is an outfit I wore about 10 days ago.The burgundy trousers are my most complex DIY project so far and it took a long time to finish;I drew the pattern and cut the fabric myself but got some help with the sewing actually since I had absolutely no idea how to sew before that!! They fit perfectly and love them! They match my DIY burgundy spike bracelet, too!  xoxoxo

Mani(c) Monday: Lana Del Rey inspired nails

So,these are my Lana Del Rey inspired nails but the 'reality-friendly' version. What this means is that unless you're a pop/rock star, you probably don't have stiletto nails, like the ones Lana Del Rey and Rihanna have! You can give a pointy shape to your nails but keep in mind that it will be easier for them to break.I decided to forgo the gold stripe and use a darker red with a nude colour as a base.It was the first time I used the Avon nail brush and I'm pleased with the results, the lines were very precise. What do you think of it? Do you think I should have done the gold stripe too?? Would you try this look? xoxoxo

Mani(c) Monday: Ombre French

This is another twist on the classic french, the ombre french manicure! You'll need your favourite white and pink or nude nails polishes,a base/top coat and a sponge! Use the sponge to merge the white tips with the pink/nude bottom part of the nail.Apply the top coat without waiting for the nail polish to dry completely as it will help blend the two colours together even more! I'm using the french manicure set and the 'Peeling and brittleness solver' as a base and top coat by Avon. The ring is from the Bling Chic collection by Folli Follie. If you recreate this manicure send me photos or the links to it.I'd love  to see it! Don't forget to like, comment and share!!  xoxoxo
