Mani(c) Monday: Hot Pink

Happy Monday everyone! This is my new purchase from Avon, a hot pink speeddry+ nail polish called 'Strawberry'. It's bright and very pigmented and I loved it! It's a shade darker than 'Viva Pink',another favourite of mine.What do you think of the new shape of my nails by the way? xoxoxo

OOTD:polka dot top and my DIY trousers!

This is an outfit I wore about 10 days ago.The burgundy trousers are my most complex DIY project so far and it took a long time to finish;I drew the pattern and cut the fabric myself but got some help with the sewing actually since I had absolutely no idea how to sew before that!! They fit perfectly and love them! They match my DIY burgundy spike bracelet,too!  xoxoxo

Mani(c) Monday: Lana Del Rey inspired nails

So,these are my Lana Del Rey inspired nails but the 'reality-friendly' version.What this means is that unless you're a pop/rock star,you probably don't have stiletto nails,like the ones Lana Del Rey and Rihanna have! You can give a pointy shape to your nails but keep in mind that it will be easier for them to break.I decided to forgo the gold stripe and use a darker red with a nude colour as a base.It was the first time I used the Avon nail brush and I'm pleased with the results,the lines were very precise.What do you think of it? Do you think I should have done the gold stripe too?? Would you try this look? xoxoxo

Mani(c) Monday: Ombre French

This is another twist on the classic french, the ombre french manicure! You'll need your favourite white and pink or nude nails polishes,a base/top coat and a sponge! Use the sponge to merge the white tips with the pink/nude bottom part of the nail.Apply the top coat without waiting for the nail polish to dry completely as it will help blend the two colours together even more! I'm using the french manicure set and the 'Peeling and brittleness solver' as a base and top coat by Avon. The ring is from the Bling Chic collection by Folli Follie. New in: Darcy sunglasses and DIY polka-dot scarf

I've taken up a new hobby and have a few 'projects' half-finished! My new hobby is sewing and this is the easiest of my projects, a scarf! You just cut a square of fabric,fold the edges and sew! I've also finished a pair of yoga pants, they turned out ok but obviously I need to practise!! I really loved this polka-dot  fabric and since it is so 50s, I made an apron(needs a few finishing touches) and a headscarf! Like a stepford housewife!! Of course I could wear the scarf around my neck too,but the way I envisioned it is as a headband like they wore it in the 50s! Will definitely post when I get to try it on!! Oh and the Darcy sunglasses are from Avon,don't they fit perfect in my 50s theme??? Happy 1st of May!   xoxoxo
