15 Quinceanera Dresses

Hello lovelies, are you enjoying the holiday season? I sure am! This is a different kind of post than what you usually see these days but it is also a post about special occasion dresses and lots of sparkle! It is a post about  15 Quinceanera Dresses and it's in collaboration with SweetQuinceaneraDress.
If you are wondering what these are let me enlighten you.
Quinceanera is the celebration of a girl's fifteenth birthday and it is a very big ceremony much like that of a wedding. It's celebrated in Latin America and in communities of people from Latin America living elsewhere. It originated in ancient Aztec culture and it marks the transition from childhood to womanhood. The celebration begins with the arrival of the teenager girl accompanied by her father and the girl wears an elaborate elegant dress of her choice. It used to be a white or pink dress, then pastel colored and now bold bright colors are worn as well. From an Anglo perspective, it would seem like the combination of a 'Sweet Sixteen' birthday party with that of a coming out ball for debutantes.
There is food and music and many guests, friends and family. In some countries the celebrations have taken on more religious overtones than in others. The most important factor from a female point of view is the beautiful dress that seems fit for a princess! Some of these dresses are really magical. I would certainly feel like a princess in a fairy tale wearing one of them! SweetQuinceaneraDress makes gorgeous Quinceanera dresses. Take a look at some of them!

OOTD: Plaid and Stripes

Hello lovelies, time for a mixed prints outfit! It was very sunny the other day so I left my coat in the car and decided to wear my blanket scarf as a cape. It's not how I usually wear it but decided to give it a go. Hm... I think I'm gonna keep wearing it as a scarf, I like it more! How do you usually wear your blanket scarf? Do you own one? xoxoxo

Dressestylist - Beach Wedding Dresses

Hello lovelies, this is my third post in collaboration with Dressestylist, a site with gorgeous wedding dresses! Have you read my previous posts? If you haven't, you can see my post on Wedding Dresses UK 2015 HERE and the one on Vintage Wedding Dresses HERE.
This time we are going to be discussing Beach Wedding Dresses even though we are in the heart of winter! These are going to be my favourite because summer is my absolute favourite season and a beach is my favourite place to be in the whole wide world! I have always pictured my own wedding happening in the summer somewhere near the beach! I can stay there all day, lounging, swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, doing water sports, you name it! I like to spend hours and hours there  until after the sunset. I'm lucky enough to be living in Greece so it's not difficult. That's how I spend my summers! There is something soothing and relaxing about being next to the sea, don't you agree? I like going even in the Autumn! So, that's probably why my ideal wedding would take place on a beach and it would be carefree and fun with just family and a few close friends. The wedding dress I would choose would be a flowing maxi romantic dress, simple but beautiful. Dressestylist has so many to choose from. Go to the site to browse all of them and select your favourite. They are all gorgeous so you might have trouble picking just one! I managed to narrow down my favourites to these lovely dresses. Leave me a comment, I want to know what you think and what your ideal wedding wedding is! xoxoxo

New in - neutral colour scheme

Hello lovelies, a little bit of shopping does wonders to your mood! I went to the shops to buy pants or a skirt. No luck there but I really liked what I bought! A cream sweater (35e) and a grey leopard-print sweater (25e) from H&M, grey booties (60e) from Benetton and my favourite a beige beanie with pom poms (15e) from Marks and Spencer. I also bought a lovely purple cardigan as a gift for my mom, hope she likes it! Now, I just have to find pants or a skirt! Does this happen to you too or are you more focused when you go shopping and stick to the plan? :) xoxoxo

Vintage Wedding Dresses

Hello lovelies, this is the second post of my collaboration with Dressestylist, the site where you can find magnificent wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses. If you missed my first post you can read it HERE.
Now, when I think about winter weddings the words Old Hollywood Glamour and vintage come into my mind! White furry capes and elaborate yet romantic hairstyles. The perfect setting also includes light snow falling, as I picture it! That's just me of course! How do you picture the ideal winter wedding? What type of wedding do you associate vintage dresses with?
Today's post is going to be about Vintage Wedding Dresses, as you have already realized most probably. The appeal of a vintage wedding dress is time-transcending and you can find many styles to suit you. The site has many gorgeous dresses that are ready to order but you can also give your measurements to have the dress of your dreams custom made for you. And you can even choose the colour of your dress! Yes, that's right! So, if you have always dreamt of wearing, let's say a pink or even burgundy wedding dress, you can now have it custom made! Just choose the dress you want among the many beautiful choices, and move on to customize your order easily on the same page. Allow 15-20 working days tailoring time and 4-8 days shipping time for a made to order dress. I'm sure this will not be a problem since most brides-to-be start searching for their perfect wedding dress months before the wedding.
Here's my two favourites from the Vintage collection.Do you like them? Pay a visit to the site to find your favoutites!  xoxoxo
